Outtabounds – A year on playing Indoor Golf

Outtabounds – A year on playing Indoor Golf

From junior players just beginning their golfing journey to competitive league nights and anywhere in-between, in the past twelve months, we have created an inclusive environment that fosters friendship, skill development, and a love for golf.

Throughout the beginning of our indoor golf journey, we've seen an array of engaging events and activities that cater to the diverse needs, as well as meeting some truly great people.

Weekly practice sessions have become a staple for some, where others have played a more relaxed “let’s make a night of it…” approach.

The sense of belonging that Outtabounds fosters is palpable. This social aspect has become a cornerstone of our growth, turning acquaintances into lasting friendships. The sense of support and encouragement is truly inspiring, as members cheer each other on during league rounds and celebrate personal milestones (and sometimes downfalls) together.

Profession Golf Advisor James

We’ve seen Professional Golf Advisor (please check out his YouTube channel, it’s incredible - Outtabounds make a cameo appearance in the latest Episode) smash the 2024 winter league, and more recently, Harry Walton top the post New Year 2025 winter league.

These nights have been pure class and have bought a lot of joy and people together – we’re already looking forward to the next winter league. Get training Maverick!

These evenings not only introduce novices to the sport but also provide seasoned players a chance to unwind and socialise in a relaxed atmosphere. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, fuelling our drive to elevate the experience even further.

A golf night at in Beeston with friendsLooking forward, we are excited to build on this thriving session and continue to make Outtabounds the go-to destination for golfers/non-golfer seeking both a challenge and a great night out, even before the night begins.

Our junior programs have flourished, with young golfers eagerly participating in competitions and social events that not only hone their skills but also build lasting friendships. A huge thanks to Connor Ashby and Beeston Fields Golf Club for the winter coaching and support for the facility.

Beeston Fields Juniors at Outtabounds

As we reflect on our journey over the past year, it is clear that Outtabounds has not only become a haven for golfers to connect and improve their game but has also nurtured a loving community built on shared experiences and mutual respect.

We witnessed our 1st hole-in-hole (Connor), many work/corporate afternoons/nights out, kids birthday parties, Nottingham Uni, golf societies, an influx of newbies wanting golf lessons, and casual golfers who had never had a club membership wishing to join a golf club for the 1st time, plus much more...

With plans for even more outreach initiatives (stay tuned for GIGO 2025 and our very own Golf Sim Builds), we are excited about the possibilities that lay ahead.

Some shoutouts go to Golf Foundation, England Golf, everyone at Creative Corner, our juniors teams, Flames and Inferno’s. Beeston Fields juniors, George Constance for qualifying for The Open (wow!), Tom Hamson and Connor Ashby, Beeston Fields Golf Club, and last but not least, everyone we’ve met along the way.

Outtabounds is more than just indoor golf, it's golfing community - a place to get together, celebrate, laugh, and share moments, on and off the course!
