We’re excited to share the success of our recent Opening Evening, where four engaging sessions throughout a very wet evening in Beeston drew in golf enthusiasts of all skill levels. Hosted by our PGA Professional, Connor Ashby, the evening was an inspiring showcase of what his indoor golf lessons have to offer.
Participants were given a first-hand look at Connor's innovative approach to his coaching, as he took attendees through the main structure and objectives of his winter lessons. From fundamental swing mechanics to practicing shot shaping and bunker shots on real life courses, Connor emphasised a personalised learning experience designed to cultivate improvement and confidence.

A highlight of the evening was the demonstration of our golf simulator capabilities. Attendees witnessed how this cutting-edge tech can enhance golf lessons, providing real-time feedback and data analysis. Connor explained the basics of the data points that he will be using and how they will benefit each golfer’s individual lesson.
Adding to the fun, we hosted two nearest-to-the-pin competitions. The first challenge took place at the iconic 7th hole of Pebble Beach, where our participants aimed for precision and control, navigating the beauty and challenges of one of golf's most revered holes. The excitement didn’t end there, as our second competition transported attendees to the stunning 19th hole at Paynes Valley, where competitors battled it out for bragging rights and a free lesson from Connor at Outtabounds.
Overall, the Opening Evening was not just an introduction to Connor’s winter programs, but a celebration of our local community among golf lovers. Attendees were left feeling inspired, motivated and excited about their indoor golf journey throughout the cold winter months that lie ahead.
